The sword Anduril symbolizes royal dignity in the movie adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and is wielded by Aragorn. Engraved on blade and crossguard are the following words: Nánye Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordóreo (I am Anduril, once Narsil, sword of Elendil. Let me free the slaves of Mordor).
